Iran and Hezbollah Could Join the Fight, Even if They Didn’t Help Plan the Attack, Hamas Official Claims

The recent rise in violence between Israel and Palestine, especially Hamas’s sudden attack on Israel, has shocked people all over the region. A small group of top Hamas leaders planned the attack, which took Israel off guard and had terrible results. There were hundreds of Hamas gunmen who broke into Israeli towns and killed over 900 troops and residents. More than 100 were captured.

A member of Hamas’s fugitive leadership named Ali Barakeh said that not even their closest friends, Iran and Hezbollah, knew when the attack would happen. There are rumors that Iran is involved, but no solid proof has been found yet. Israeli officials, on the other hand, are sure about Tehran’s part and are worried that Iran, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah are working together against Israel.

The attack, called “Operation Al-Aqsa Deluge,” was caused by a number of things that Israel’s strict government did, such as putting more pressure on Palestinian prisoners and visiting sensitive places like Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. Tensions rose even more because Hamas thought Israel had plans to kill its top leaders.

Hamas is still arrogant, even after the surprise attack. Barakeh said that they are ready for a long fight. They have a huge collection of rockets and are ready for a long confrontation. Hamas also wants to use the captured Israelis to get the release of Palestinians who are being held in Israeli jails for terror crimes, even those who are being held in the US on charges of giving money to Hamas.

Israel has declared all-out war and called up a lot of troops from its reserves, which makes people worry about a possible ground attack or reoccupation of Gaza. As long as Hezbollah and other Palestinian groups keep shooting rockets at Israeli positions, the war is only going to get worse.

As emotions rise, the whole world keeps a close eye on things, looking for a solution that will stop more deaths and bring peace back to the area. Despite the ongoing fighting, it is still not clear how to reach a peaceful outcome.
