Israel Restores Order Around Gaza

Israel Restores Order Around Gaza as Death Toll Surpasses 1,200 – The Unfolding Crisis and Global Concerns!

Israel is still reeling from the bloodiest attack it has seen in fifty years. Israel is responding to a surprise attack by the terrorist group Hamas early Saturday morning with more fighting in the Gaza Strip.

In Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which Hamas is calling it, more than 700 Israelis have been killed. In response, Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip have killed at least 490 Palestinians. Over 1,200 people have died, including people from other countries.

In its fighting, Hamas has taken hostages an unknown number of Israelis, both civilians and troops. This led Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to say that his country is at war. Israel says it is trying to free the hostages, but it fears that Hamas members could still be coming into the country. The IDF said that during an attack on Gaza overnight, they hit more than 500 enemy targets.

Hamas has been in charge of the Gaza Strip since 2007 and is a terrorist organization backed by Iran. Over 2 million Palestinians live in Gaza, a small strip of land that is about 140 square miles in size. It is one of the most heavily crowded places on Earth and has been under an Israeli land, air, and sea blockade since 2007.

Israeli troops and Hamas rebels are no longer fighting inside of Israel, according to IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari. This is because the IDF has taken back control of the places outside of Gaza.

The news comes after more than 48 hours of fighting that started early Saturday morning with a surprise attack by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Over 700 Israelis have been killed in the attack, which used thousands of rockets and shooters. It was the biggest attack Israel has seen in 50 years.

Israel responded by attacking buildings in Gaza with several bombs overnight. Attacks and damage are expected to continue inside the heavily crowded and blockaded area.
